Why We Awaken

“Awakening” tosses us into the farce of “teacher” vs “student,” of “present” vs “non-present,” of “enlightened” vs “unenlightened,” in an oppressive cycle of illusion.

Breaking free of the chains of “being enlightened” is the real end to the spiritual journey.

We didn’t discover Presence to be “the one who Knows.” We discovered Presence to be the one who doesn’t know, and to be okay with it.

We didn’t awaken to be “the one who is Awakened.” We awakened to be the one who is unawakened, and to love him.

We didn’t learn about Oneness to be a “teacher of Oneness”. We learned about Oneness so that we could be absolutely Nothing, and absolutely anything that we presently Are.
