The Finish Line

Slow and steady wins the race, right?

But before he can even get started, the turtle must come out of his shell.

Our shell is our asylum, where we take time to heal before we begin the endless race.

If we rush into life without taking enough time in our shell, we will find that we dont have the strength to endure it.

While we may tell ourselves that time in our shell is time lost outside of it, we haven’t lost anything if we aren’t happy at home.

Our body is our home, and we must learn to love it. Love is the only real “finish line.” The “race” of life is just for fun.
