There is nothing wrong with the Story, even if our character disagrees.
I know mine does. Akira can’t stand the Story. Frankly, the world sickens him. Every day is a struggle.
The only thing that gets him through each page is the beauty he sees between the lines.
He finds joy in the details. In an intimate friend’s eyes. In the glistening of morning light. In the grooves of a floorboard. In the nuances of sadness. In the subtleties of love.
He finds strength in knowing that the Story is just a story, and that his Presence is ever free.
