The story will end before it ends. That is simply the nature of it all.
Our last moments will be filled with “future” ones which will never come.
It is a sad truth, but one which can make the moments we do have more alive, if we see that the story is just a story, and that life will always comprise of the moment Here and Now.
There is no shame in the story. The story is an intricate and intimate facet of our presence.
But the mind is often engrossed to the point of inundation, and loses sight of the Truth beyond the tale.
